Last week, I & @CroftRoland visited @klainfo's group @MonashInfotech & shared our @crest_uofa's research. It's great meeting everyone in person after a long time. Special thanks to Kla for kindly hosting us & sharing your exciting work. Looking forward to potential follow-ups.
I'll be presenting our work on inconsistency of vulnerability severity data at @SANERconf in several hours (15 March 7pm CET). Interesting discussion about #vulnerability reporting and data. Here's the recording if you can't make it: https://t.co/L6mfW8snmJ @alibabar@lilicoding
Awesome to get this paper accepted, a super interesting topic towards the importance of data quality. We had a good, positive review experience with @msrconf. Special thanks to @crest_uofa and @CSCRCoz for their support.
SE researchers r starting to highlight the importance of data quality 4 #ML. In our accepted paper at @msrconf, we identify the impact of mislabeled instances for #vulnerability learning, and show that noisy label learning improves performance @CroftRoland@alibabar@Huaming_Chen
We're kicking off a #research#seminar series on #Cybersecurity, #SoftwareEngineering and many other related topics.
Over the next few months, we'll be hosting guest talks from many world-class researchers. Watch this space for more updates soon. #crest_seminar
It was good to present this recently accepted paper to my colleagues. Have a look at the recording if you're interested in #datamining, #security, or programming languages. Thanks to @CSCRCoz.
@CroftRoland gave a great talk on "#Security challenges in different #ProgrammingLanguages". He shares insights into the key developers' security challenges in practice & their mapping to the existing taxonomies (e.g., #Cybok). #crest_discussion

I'm happy to have been accepted into the @msrconf shadow PC program, and I'm looking forward to learning as much as I can from this mentoring opportunity. Another step towards entering the SE research community!
2021 was a great year for me, despite the challenges. Started the 2nd year of my PhD, got several publications accepted, and supervised several talented students. Big appreciation to @alibabar, @crest_uofa, and @CSCRCoz for the support and opportunities they provided.
CREST organized a year-end party for the members & #CRESTSummerProjects2021 students in #Adelaide 🎉. We gathered to share our stories throughout the year 2021 & the resolutions for the next year.
Happy holidays, everyone! 🎊
Looking forward to seeing you all refreshed in 2022.
