You see people in Wakey shirts in Ryhill, then drive down the green to Royston or shafton and they disappear….. it’s bizzare.

Yet there is plenty of Barnsley FC fans in South Wakefield.

@barnettmike26 @BrianDavies12 @WillowsRed And rightly so- but it looks much better in colour. Most super league stadiums are boring ‘football style’ grounds- sterile. I much prefer the older stadiums and I hope you enjoy your championship tour as much as Wakey did. Batley away is much better than Warrington away.

For context -average league 2 attendances this year: Expanding and growing the game here is a challenge
