@AaronBastani@ZackPolanski Speaking as someone on the right, I am very grateful to him, as I am to Corbyn and all other left-leaning independents. Splitting the vote works to the benefit of my ilk
@LoftusSteve@YooKayIsACon Hard to believe that he doesn’t have official backing, given the impressive logistical means this would entail. Given too that his messaging is broadly that of a modern metropolitan centrist, I’d bet on at least a degree of assistance.
@AaronBastani We’re entering what I call the Boris Phenomenon, where there are so many scandals that the public forget them as quickly as new ones are publicised. Nothing therefore lasts more than a few days, and nothing sticks.
@ClarkeMicah@echetus ‘All human wisdom is contained in these two words; wait and hope’
A great many nations have been in worse positions and bounced back. However unlikely that is for us, I have always thought that remaining hopeful avoids a begrudging acceptance of our demise.
@AaronBastani But Aaron, you must remember that the grown ups are in charge again. The sensibles. Imagine all the soft power we are gaining from Starmer’s endless foreign policy successes!
