Been a brillant last few weeks for Marine in terms of resigning players from last season, gives us a great platform to have a solid squad and add some quality for the up and coming season, gives us alot of confidence going forward.
✍️ NEWELL STAYS!️
We are thrilled to announce that striker George Newell has committed his future to Marine for the upcoming season!
After providing a massive focal point up front for Bobby Grant’s side last term, the 29-year-old is ready to go again.
🗣 "It was an easy decision for me to sign on for next season... As good as last season was for the team and for me personally, it has only made me hungrier to push on and achieve even more."

Great to see that Sam has committed his future to the club for the up and coming season, been brillant for us especially last season when we had big injury problems and was being asked to play every 3 days or so!
Love it 🤍🖤
✍️ FIELDING SIGNS!
Midfielder Sam Fielding has committed his future to the Mariners for the upcoming season!
Since arriving, Sam has been a crucial and versatile part of Bobby Grant's squad, and he has his eyes firmly set on the top end of the table for next term.
🗣 "If we make our home ground a horrible place for teams to come, and be resilient away from home, then there’s no reason why we can’t look towards those play-off places."

Post from SCP CIC about Marine fans who have generously contributed to all of our foodbank collections alongside @SFoodbanks every little contribution helps no matter if it's big or small, thanks to everyone who has contributed and let's spread the word next season and do it bigger and better 🤍🖤
I know my shitty day would be heaven for some, but it was my shitty day until I received this from my mate. It's flipping ace and,of course, features @MarineAFC@CrosenderWay
Happiness restored. Temporarily.

@ryan_barton they literally hacked hundreds in the last few weeks when we got our account back today we had 30 Direct Messages from different accounts with the same link that caught us out thought not today sunshine not today 🤣
After 3 weeks we've finally got our account back, suppose after sending nearly 100 emails and twitter reports helped in the end 😅
Great to hear the captain has signed for next season alongside Fin Sinclair Smith and Matty McDonald hopefully more will follow!
Below is our back up account incase anything like this happens again give it a follow which would be much appreciated, again it's only there incase we ever have that situation again.

Here‘s a description of each option you can choose from:
A: A classic plain white shirt with black sleeves. Includes a black v-neck design which is inspired by the classic 1971/72 kit and introduces a gold trim detail as a nod to Marine FC’s original colours.
B: A bold and progressive design featuring a black sash emanating from a black sleeve. Complimented with a lighter grey stripe/sash.
C: A half white, half light grey shirt which evokes the 125 year retro anniversary kit with black sleeves and a gold trim.
We will also be announcing the release of 2026/27 Season Tickets on Friday – stay tuned.

@chinaonthehill@_StephenKillen@OffThePark_ Yeah definitely what people may not realise this is a new thing for Marine, having a DOF helping the manager which makes Youngys achievements as manager even more impressive as he used to do everything, will be a great help for Bobby who is just starting his managerial career.
Really good interview with Director of football Neil Young with @_StephenKillen@OffThePark_
Very insightful about the challenges Marine face at this level with budgets and how we work as a football club, great to hear how the club has supported players who have been injured all season and that's clear to see when you look at them all travelling to away games when it could of been easy for them to stay at home, club is in good hands with Youngy and Bobby they clearly have alot of respect for each other and have the same values and want to do their very best for the club.
Do wish he would take some plaudits though, this club wouldn't be we're it is now without Neil Young, we will be eternally grateful for what he done for this club.
2 promotions
2 senior cups
Countless cup runs
Remember going to Kendal in the early part of Youngys reign and the Kendal keeper said to us, does your team ever stop running? That eptimised what a Youngy team was at Marine, he gave us some of the best moments of our lives watching Marine and for that we will always be grateful to him, what a man 🤍🖤
