Year 5 are learning about longitude and latitude in their map skills topic. They played a game of Battleships using the skills they have learnt about coordinates 🌎
Alastair Humphreys recorded a personal message for our keen adventurers in year 5 last week. The children had emailed him many a question about his explorations and he decided to record his answers. They were delighted to see one of their heroes on screen!
Year 6 spent a fantastic day at the Hawk Conservancy on Monday learning all about animal adaptations. They watched some beautiful flying displays and had some close encounters with the birds of prey.
Year 4 have been exploring how we digest our food with a very messy science practical this week. We recreated the stomach, intestines and even excretion!
Well done to our U11 boys football team who came 4th in the ISA National Championships today losing the play off on penalties. The boys did themselves and the school proud 👏🏻
Year 4 had a visit from a dentist this week as part of their science topic on ‘Teeth and digestion’. The children all learned lots of information and asked some very thoughtful questions.
Well done to our Year 4 choir who won 1st position at the Woodley festival over the weekend. The judges loved the energy and excitement they brought in their pieces Zulu Warrior and Groovy Grandma 👏🏻🏅
