My takeaway from this is I want to order another mech keyboard as a spare as after being exclusively mech boards for years l, I really dislike membrane boards…

Would I do it again? Yup but I’m a machinist with these things :-p would I recommend others to do it? That depends on what you value your time at and how long it would take you so your using another board while doing the process.

I know I am supposed to hate Amazon. But damn its fucking handy at times. Needed a 26pin 1mm pitch FFC connector, My inital search was China so 4 weeks delievery, Pay a £15 premium from Farnell, But a seller on Amazon had them in stock in packs of 10 with prime delievery...

I needed a desk cam for a short period. Tried mounting my webcam in weird spots including trying to sit it on my mic arm. Then it dawned on me. JACK YOU HAVE A 3D PRINTER YOU IDIOT! So made a mount for my mic arm to hold my old phone and boom problem solved.
