🇱🇹 Lithuania has launched large-scale mobilization drills, including a scenario of a military invasion from Belarus

The annual exercise “Dome of Vytis 2026” is meant to test how the country would respond to a worsening security situation and a shift to wartime mobilization.

About 3,000 officials, state institutions, companies, and NGOs, plus about 1,000 volunteers, will take part through October 3, LRT reported.

The drills will also include an evacuation of residents of Vilnius and municipalities near the Belarusian border under a potential invasion scenario.

On September 29, authorities will test public warning systems: sirens, emergency alerts to mobile phones, and the LT72 emergency-preparedness app.

russians are pulling forces from other parts of the front to try and stop 3rd corps, they cant. now watch the hammer fall at another part of the front. there are too many rested AFU units and too many exhausted russian units.

any mobilization would be stupid on Russia's part. it would take 4-6 months to get the troops to the front if they wanted to train them in any way. the well is dry for troops with any training. the callup would be of people that never did national service and dont even know how to hold a rifle.

throwing 2-300,000 green drafted meat cubes to face the combined ukraine military (currently the best combat fighting force in the world) would be national suicide.
