@MFBasedLeo@qualk37@6NewsAU You have absolutely no idea. That stopped many years ago. All greyhounds need to be adopted now after racing or if they don't make it to tje track. The sport is highly regulated. Stop living in the past!
@JanDavisTas@jeremyrockliff If u want to see animal cruelty just go to the RSPCA ince a week a truck picks up all the dead animals they put down every week.
@timchawthorne@JanDavisTas@susanamet@VictorianLabor Taxpayers don't fund it. They get some money back which goes to the government. The animal justice party should be more worried how many RSPCA puts down a day?
@Drexel76@jeremyrockliff In Tassie it won't unfortunately. Had a dog in the final of Hobart 1000 in 2020. There was no media coverage or anything in newspaper about it. The media hate the industry & Tommy Shelby won his first grp1 that year but still no media attention.
@brentcostelloe RSPCA commends it. They are an embarrassment of an organisation who puts 1000's dogs a week. But if a few dogs die from running in a race it is shocking. People need to go to RSPCA to see the death of many dogs per week.
@brentcostelloe Q: The Inevitable died on the track this year in horse racing he was one of the best horse of all time in Tassie nothing is said. But when Raider's Guide dies on the track it closes an industry down. And RSPCA kill 1000's a dog a week nothing is said.
