Ok @MSC_Crociere weโre loving our time on #MSCSeaside but the Logo shop is extremely disappointing. No souvenirs that features the actual ship weโre on, no ship models, but lots of out of date and overpriced #MSCBellissima notepads for โฌ27
@steve_vine It's still been a great and enjoyable cruise! Just a noticeable difference between how rigorous things were at the start of the season compared to now
@steve_vine All the tests I could see were negative on the table when getting swabbed. There's been an announcement for 1 couple to contact guest services from their cabin phone, but that could be a separate issue
@garybembridge@steve_vine @vegancruiser Agree, the last 2 cruises went on with Virgin and NCL felt completely safe. This one is questionable. Disembark tomorrow.
All guests on #MSCvirtuosa are being tested for Covid-19 as part of @MSC_Cruises_UK enhanced safety measures. A small number of guests tested positive in Liverpool
@steve_vine @vegancruiser Yes correct. The procedures worked when Govt required max 1000 guests, but the relaxed restrictions on land about mask wearing/distancing have also meant people not wanting to comply with the stricter rules onboard
@steve_vine @vegancruiser First day onboard the queues to enter the buffet were horrendous! People crammed into the main entrance corridor #mscvirtuosa
@vegancruiser @steve_vine MSC say temperature tests supposed to take place daily at Breakfast and Dinner. Staff have never tested us at Dinner the whole cruise. And what about those that skip Breakfast
@steve_vine @vegancruiser ... seats blocked off in theatre and bars for social distancing, but not in restaurants where MSC are happy for guests to share tables with other people. Seems MSC only enforce when convenient. Recently returned from Virgin and NCL and felt a lot safer on those lines
@steve_vine @vegancruiser Yes, procedures are in place but not being followed by a large portion of passengers. Regular announcements to social distance/wear masks. Crew don't seem to challenge those not following rules, but also hard to follow when MSC have decided to sail at almost full capacity ...
