@xXxqqa I mean obviously I think it’s better to have an indoor cat but his previous owner let him out and I think it would be cruel to force him in when there’s no danger. If we did have foxes/coyotes I’d have made him an indoor cat though.

@xXxqqa I feel like it’s subjective to the location, I let my cat out because there’s no predators in the area, he knows all the other cats and doesn’t fight with them and for whatever reason he doesn’t leave our garden so I trust him to just lay in the sun and chill.
