I chose to go into science because i felt like it would be a waste of my mind and potential to not to. And now mids all of this I'm failing to deliver suffcient results. I am not the smartest there is yet i feel the need to constantly prove my self. To my self.
I chose to pursue a STEM field and now im in a 5 month hell of graduation and entrance exams. I'm stuck, my brain is failing to comprehend the text Im reading and now i just feel lethargic.
based on their backround, and attributes they'd each assign numerical value to interactions and actions using the 2 factors.
Then we'd find the median in the results and thus create a universal index. Not applicable for everyone personally but enough for the average person
I'd base the index on 2 factors
Factor of benefit
Factor of detriment
Benefit as a pleasurable feeling/ gaining something of value
Detriment as guilt , sadness or shame
Anything is quantifiable thus, we can devise a merit based index for actions and interactions that measure the benefit for the initiator. Everything we do is for our own benefit, intentionally or subconsciously.
No one is truly selfless, for even they gain a sense of selffufilemt
Of course the index would be based not strictly on analytical bases but we'd have to factor regions, variaty of personalities, morals, customs, religion exc.
The study would have to be done on an obscenely large group of people
In turn, forming communities of people with similar opinions that strengthens it's structure. Minimising conflict and allowing faster and more efficient growth.
I wonder why we feel the inherent need to share our thoughts or desires with others. Maybe it's an evolutionary predisposition to form social bonds and develop communication skills.
