Our meeting with Timor-Leste’s President José Ramos-Horta was the first one in the history of our bilateral relations.

I appreciate his support for Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as important UN resolutions condemning Russian aggression.

Southeast Asian countries' participation in the inaugural Global Peace Summit is crucial, and I am grateful to President Ramos-Horta for confirming his attendance.

It is very important for us to begin the process of establishing a just peace. Russia does not want to end the war. Therefore, we must work together with the entire world to bring peace closer.
