Unpopular opinion: it is better to design a platform where users' interests are inherently aligned than try to come up with mechanisms to align users' incentives on top of existing platforms.
Everything we produce requires labor, resources & knowledge to varying degrees. Problem is the market can't properly value knowledge (since it's not scarce - no exchange value)
The Market breaks w heavier reliance on knowledge/data. The downstream of that is societal conflict /1

The problem with our market economy is 2-fold:
1โฃ It doesn't capture most of the things people value (no exchange value)
2โฃ It produces negative externalities (pollution, disease, etc)
