40 Minutes to Crescendo
Community Quotes: Over the past two years, I’ve witnessed incredible performance engineering efforts by some of the brightest minds in the industry. With about a day and a half to go until the Crescendo.
Sit back and enjoy the ride! ~ @CryptoAspect

4 - Efficient and Decentralized Mining ⛏️
Kaspa utilizes the kHeavyHash algorithm for consensus and security of the network. This algorithm, combined with high-throughput DAG and no-wasted-blocks, makes it less energy intensive than other PoW networks.
ASIC Friendly: ASIC mining tends to be perceived as “more centralized” than GPU mining, but that is not quite the case. So-called “ASIC resistance” leads to more centralization in the long run. If there is enough economic incentive to develop it, designated hardware always wins. When it does, it is the “ASIC resistant” algos that become decentralized.

Short notice, but still worth the promotion!
The newest @Kaspa_KEF grant recipient @elimmea, has been chosen to speak at the @web3amsterdam conference on right now!
If you are attending make sure you catch his talk on "How Does Kaspa Generalize the Nakamoto Consensus?" and help rep the project in the Netherlands.
Thank you, @CoinMarketCap, for the categorization of
"Made in America." While the visibility is appreciated and a large majority of the Kaspa HASH power in the US, it's important to note that Kaspa is also a stateless, decentralized project with no head quarters, no central authority, and no corporate structure—just like Bitcoin.
Kaspa belongs to no nation, company, or entity, but to the community of contributors and users worldwide. Kaspa is truly global, open-source, and stateless.
Here's a list of other countries where mining nodes are known. Some nations might be missed as not all nodes are public. This also includes Kaspa Ambassador regions (many of whom home mine). If you are mining in a country not listed, leave a comment.

💡Did you Know 90% of Kaspa has been mined?
Why is this a big deal?
✅ Growing Scarcity: With only 10% of Kaspa left to mine, the supply is tightening — increasing its long-term value potential.
✅ Network Maturity: Kaspa’s proof-of-work network has proven its strength, high hashrate and security with most of its supply now distributed.
✅ Miners Shift to Transaction Fees: With emissions slowing, miners will increasingly earn from network transaction fees. As Kaspa adoption grows — especially across enterprise markets — miners will have strong incentives to keep their machines humming. The future is built on high throughput and low fees.
✅ Enterprise-Ready Currency: With low inflation, high speed, and enterprise adoption started to form, Kaspa is primed to become a global settlement currency for businesses and individuals alike.
💡 As supply shrinks and demand grows, the economics behind Kaspa become even more compelling. Kaspa’s emission model is crucial for maintaining a balanced and sustainable ecosystem.
The future belongs to fast, decentralized, and scarce money and a powerful distributed ledger technology. #PoWDAG #Kaspa
