I just spent five hours debating Lindsay Clancy supporters on TikTok Live.

Conclusions:

Not a single man, out of 50+ guests, came up to defend Lindsay Clancy.

I’d estimate roughly 80% of the women who came up to defend Lindsay don’t even believe she killed her children, something her own defense team does not dispute.

Evidence doesn’t seem to matter to many of these women. It’s largely the same phenomenon you see with the Candace cult: everything gets reduced to “just asking questions.”

They believe Lindsay had essentially no autonomy or ability to think rationally, even before her alleged psychosis.

They claim to have watched the trial, but many clearly haven’t.

Most of their information appears to come from TikTok and social media, because much of the “evidence” they repeatedly cited literally does not exist in the trial record.

Some genuinely believe the verdict is somehow going to find Patrick guilty.

They would rather blame Patrick, men generally, or the medical system for failing Lindsay, despite the extensive psychiatric care she received.

They don’t care that Lindsay withheld or misrepresented information to her doctors.

They think they know more than professional psychiatrists who have been doing this for decades.

And somehow, they think they can make a better case for Lindsay’s innocence than Lindsay’s own defense team.

To finish, I’ve debated countless subjects, political issues, and major news stories over the years.

I have genuinely never encountered a group of people this confidently detached from the actual evidence of a case.

It was honestly pretty sad to see.
