🚨 CFTC Chair Michael Selig is moving forward with a new framework for crypto platforms offering leverage and margin trading.
The goal is simple: clear federal rules instead of regulatory uncertainty.
The U.S. clearly doesn’t want crypto innovation to move elsewhere.
The message Selig is trying to deliver is that financial innovation, especially crypto, shouldn’t be held back by regulatory uncertainty.
It also reminds me of what Trump said: “If we don’t embrace crypto and Bitcoin technology, China will, other countries will. They’ll dominate.”
@Polymarket That’s insanely low. People should be willing to spend more on AI tools. Sustainable revenue gives AI companies more resources to invest in R&D and make the technology more reliable and mature.
🚨 Zcash NU7 is now LIVE on testnet.
The upgrade went live at block 4,465,026 on Oct. 4, bringing several major changes closer to reality.
What’s changing?
- Block time: 75s → 25s
- v4 transactions will be disabled
- Old Sprout funds will become unspendable after NU7
- A new system will set aside part of transaction fees for future rewards
Developers will test everything before making the final decision on Oct. 20.
Mainnet is currently targeted for Nov. 5.
@CoinMarketCap Even the Fed’s last 25 bps hike didn’t trigger a major BTC sell-off, so it’s not surprising that employment data has a limited impact unless it changes expectations for Fed policy.
@cryptojack We’re still in the early stages of this bull cycle. The real wave of capital hasn’t even arrived yet. More liquidity is coming, and the biggest moves are still ahead.
@BitcoinIntelX The U.S. stock market’s Fear & Greed Index is at 31 right now. There’s still plenty of room for U.S. stocks to run higher in this cycle.
