Let me be very clear…. $GSAT $IRDM $VSAT are better dead than alive

Yes I (& other investors) totallly missed re-rating value. Good for those that saw it. But don’t mislead yourself into thinking their execs are genius. They aren’t. $ASTS enabled their returns & kicked it off with Ligado.

A crystal clear example is $IRDM had an offer to buy AST under $1b in 2021 & denied it as D2C was impossible & not worth it during CAPEX Holiday. That’s not forward thinking management, that’s blindness.

They are not geniuses & got bailed out (made a ton of money so great for them) due to the value of the D2C market that AST invented.

All the interviews this week talk about value of spectrum. Well Iridium has 8.7mhz of TDD L band for $8b, $GSAT has 11mhz for $11b, SpaceX has 65mhz S for $20b

$ASTS 9 months prior locked down 45mhz L-Band for $2b NPV. Should that not be talked about, that it’s a master stroke?

Wait until AST/SatCo/RAST start getting S band allocation for free (oh did Brazil just do that with 20mhz?)

You know what, they're absolutely right. We are 100% delusional. Can you imagine holding $ASTS for almost 6 years through a constant barrage of FUD and the stock price getting shorted down to < $2? And then being delusional enough to keep buying all the way down AND THEN continuing to hold and buying on the way up?

You know who else is delusional? Abel Avellan. This mfer created the direct-to-cellular satellite broadband category in 2017 against all the haters, naysayers and legacy clowns who said it was impossible. At the low point AST SpaceMobile was worth $700M with only $100M in the bank. Throughout the lowest lows AND highest highs, Abel has never sold a single share all these years. This guy must be insane?!?

It takes a special kind of crazy to be a founder like Abel and it takes a special kind of crazy to have the conviction, fortitude and patience to be invested alongside him.

We're not rebuilding the same pad for New Glenn. We're moving to a horizontal/vertical hybrid configuration to get us flying again this year at 36A.  We were already working on something similar for 9x4 at 36B. Let me explain what that means. We mate the stages horizontally in the Integration Facility (IF). Then we bring the integrated vehicle out to the pad, use a crane to perform the vertical breakover, and mate the payload once New Glenn is vertical. This new ConOps has the added benefit of increasing our flight cadence as well.
