Je beschrijft angstgebaseerde controle, hyperregulering en sociale surveillance mechanismen die alle fundamentalistische stromingen delen, of ze nu islamitisch, ultra-orthodox joods of evangelisch zijn. Maar dan verklaar je één religie satanisch en claim je absolute waarheid.

Dat is precies de totalitaire denkstructuur die je zegt te bestrijden. Je gebruikt dezelfde tactieken: demoniseren, verabsoluteren, nuance wegstrepen.

Het probleem is niet "Islam" het probleem is totalitair denken dat de religie kaapt. Ironisch genoeg demonstreer je dat zelf perfect.

Als je vrijheid propageert: steun hervormers binnen de islam die tegen hetzelfde fundamentalisme vechten. Anders ben je gewoon onderdeel van team-fundamentalisme met een ander shirt.

@VanEmmerickKris De claims kloppen niet en de framing is herkenbaar manipulatief. Culturen 'verdwijnen' niet, ze veranderen altijd. De Gouden Eeuw-Nederlander zou de huidige samenleving ook niet herkennen. Dit frame van existentiële dreiging is politieke retoriek, geen demografische analyse.

The notion of Christian cultural superiority in the West is an illusion built on selective memory and willful amnesia.
