I stay away from fancy models. And I never buy ideas. Ideas are worthless. Execution is key. Here is something I wrote before: My investment philosophy consists of three key principles:

Focus on Fundamentals

Forget about fancy business models. Instead, focus on the essentials: product, user growth, revenues/profits, and the strength of the team.

Bet Long-Term, Get in Early, and Hold

Early adopters often get disproportionate rewards. There will be many failures along the way, the few successes will more than make up for them.

The best approach is to hold investments long-term, as major successes like Amazon or Google develop over time. Setbacks and short-lived failures, such as Terra, are part of the journey.

Invest in Mission-Driven Founders

Invest in founders and teams with a vision beyond profit. Great companies arise from a mission-driven mindset, as money-focused founders often falter after a medium level of success. Those committed to a greater cause create more sustainable, impactful businesses.

Here's how I see what's happening with America, Crypto, and Global Macro right now:

America is sick. It's been sick for a long time and the medicine is causing short term pain.

Tariffs: medicine for unfair trade deals that could, in the long run make America better at producing things and creating opportunity for blue-collar workers. However, in the short term this may cause economic unease and supply disruptions.

Doge: medicine for a crazy amount of inefficient and ineffective government spending. In the short term, this decreases GDP, the amount depends on the actual money multiplier of fiscal spending. IE how much in GDP does 1$ of government spending create? Economists argue a lot about this with some saying it's a low amount with others saying it's more than a 1$. In any cause, as long as the multiplier is not zero, GDP will decrease in the short term

These two things will put pressure on the economy. The Fed. will not want to be blamed for a sharp recession so they will be forced to:

• Print money (QE / Quantitative easing)
• Lower interest rates
• Stop selling treasuries (stop quantitive tightening)

Right now, Trump and the fed disagree over the direction of monetary policy. So to force the Fed's hand, the admin is looking to create a recessionary scare (while also getting better trade deals and making the government more efficient).

I believe the outcome will be the same as it's been for decades. Lower interest rates. More dollar creation. Higher equity, real estate, and crypto prices.

Oh but this time we are likely to also end up with a stronger America.

some things i’m excited for:

- open ronin facilitating devs to come out of nowhere and surprise us

- open ronin allowing teams that couldn’t work with us before to come to ronin

- the best ronin games to be live simultaneously with their economies in full force

- interest rate cuts meaning that defi will be attractive to use for normies again like it used to be. very few people want to use defi when they can get 5% in their bank account. this will benefit ethereum and all evm chains that are suffering due to high interest rates atm

- president trump to make energy production a national priority so we can lower interest rates and end QT without inflation coming back
