🧵Through this thread, I intend on archiving as much as possible about Refik Anadol Studio [RAS] in the Web3.0 space and beyond, for those who haven’t bathed in context over years like the rest of us.

Refik Anadol is a Los Angeles-based media artist hailing from Istanbul, Turkey. He has been a lecturer / visiting researcher in the Design Media Arts Department at UCLA for over 9 years now, where he got his second MFA degree.
He mentions pioneering names in the space of creative coding such as Casey Reas, Christian Moeller and Jennifer Steinkamp as his mentors, along with Greg Lynn and others who enabled him to work with Frank Gehry and the likes. A crucial aspect of his practice is his inclusion of architecture as his canvas and explorations through neuroscience too.
