🚨🚨THE BATTLE OF CONTRACTS🚨🚨
Just to clarify..
The narrative that Bernardo Silva spent months desperately waiting for Barcelona simply doesn't add up.
If Barcelona truly wanted the player, why did they reportedly offer him around €150,000 per week, while Atlético Madrid were willing to pay €250,000 per week and Real Madrid offered €350,000 per week?
Even more importantly, Barcelona couldn't guarantee his registration and reportedly wanted him to wait until La Liga approved their financial situation. This is the same issue that has affected several transfers in recent years, as the club continues to deal with Financial Fair Play restrictions and often needs to sell players before registering new signings.
The claim that Bernardo was a "Barcelona priority" is contradicted by Barcelona's actions. Clubs don't keep their top targets waiting while offering significantly lower wages and no registration guarantees.
This wasn't a case of Bernardo chasing Barcelona and being left on hold. It was a case of Barcelona being unable or unwilling to match the financial and sporting assurances offered elsewhere.
So before calling him a "Barça reject" or claiming he was desperate to join Barcelona, remember that football transfers are decided by more than social media narratives. In the end, it came down to the battle of contracts, financial certainty, and a club's ability to register its signings....

You will ask God for food, and He will give you stones. You will ask for more users, and God will crash your business.
