Idk why Westwood gave him fewer chances, despite his best performance against BFC actually came under him.

Could’ve delivered much more if he was a regular either in that free SS role upfront or on the RW/RM.

Aiban quickly adapting to Westwood’s tactical system has been one of the most underrated positives for KBFC this season.

From operating as a left CB in a 4-4-2 to stepping into midfield as a left DMF in a 3-2-2-3 formation during build up, he has understood the role with impressive maturity and intelligence.

His ability to progress play, maintain structure and create overloads in midfield gives KBFC much more control in possession while still keeping defensive stability intact.

That kind of tactical versatility is exactly what modern systems demand, and Aiban has embraced it seamlessly.💛

But in a normal ISL season where every team has a full-strength squad, a player like Aiban could struggle with the overall intensity level. That’s why KBFC should prioritise bringing in a good Indian option for this role - someone who can step in and deliver consistently at a very high level.

Some people kept asking why Naocha wasn’t getting chances ahead of Saheef despite Saheef looking unreliable at times this season.

But there’s a tactical reason behind Ashley trusting him.

Saheef doesn’t just play as a LB - during build up, he shifts into a left CB when KBFC moves from a back 4 to a back 3. That role needs CB instincts: positioning, compactness, progression and defensive balance.

Naocha is more of a wing-back profile than a natural full-back/centre-back.

Yes, Saheef makes mistakes, but tactically he fits the system far better, That’s probably why the coach keeps backing him.

And moving forward, the ideal solution would be signing a naturally defensive left-back who is comfortable as a full-back and tucking inside as a left centre-back during build up.

Good move. If the AIFF can’t listen to the clubs’ interests, then let them run the league without the clubs.

Been watching Aditya Suresh Lamani recently through various youth competitions and honestly he’s a midfielder who really stood out to me.

He’s only 16 but already looks technically very sharp on the ball. Comfortable receiving under pressure, has a clean first touch, good close control and doesn’t panic in tight spaces. What I liked most is that he always tries to progress play forward instead of taking the easy option every time.

Primarily plays as a Central Midfielder but can easily operate as an Attacking Midfielder or a Left winger.

Intelligent with his movement, finds spaces well between lines and has a good understanding of positioning for his age.

His attacking output has been really impressive across youth competitions

Developed through Ace Soccer Academy, UC Utorda and currently at Alchemy FA.

Definitely a player with high potential if developed properly.

One to keep an eye👀 on for the future and “Remember the name, Aditya Lamani”🌟
