The greatest lesson I’ve learned through it all is not to worry but to lean on and trust GOD in every situation. Even when I don’t know what to do, I’ve learned that GOD will always guide me. I live stress-free because I know that, no matter what, GOD has the final say over my life. I’m able to persevere through trials because I come from a family built on morals, values, and unshakable principles. Growing up, I had access to a lot, and maybe without my understanding shaped my world view, but I’ve realized that peace, purpose, and faith can’t be bought. They have to be built. True success is who you become while waiting on GOD’s timing. GOD’s pace protects what your purpose will one day require.
Love is the hallmark of true spiritual growth. Love is a choice to serve someone for his or her good. It's a decision of the will, which is why we can—& should—love people even if we don't like them. We choose to love, and then we ask God to help our emotions catch up--Dr T Evans
At a time when young people across the country are struggling economically, President Biden’s decision to reduce the outrageous level of student debt they face will be extremely helpful. Millions will now be in a better position to start families & buy homes. This is a big deal.

Eldridge (R) repeatedly CUTS THE MICS of @Justinjpearson & @vincentdixie54 as they oppose @repmarkcochran’s “insensitive” bill honoring the TN Rifle.
Not democracy.
It’s disingenuous for my Republican colleagues to blame immigrants for not “waiting in line,” when for many there is no line.
For decades, it is Congress that has failed to deliver a humane and orderly immigration system. I want to change that.
I give Bob Kraft a lot of credit for making this hire because Black coaches with Mayo’s experience typically don’t get these kinds of opportunities. I give Mayo credit for saying this because a lot of Black coaches in his position, wouldn’t. What he said is not controversial. It’s obvious.
This is what 60 looks like.
Happy birthday to my better half — who happens to be one of the funniest, smartest, most beautiful people I know. @MichelleObama, you make every day better. I can't wait to see what this new decade brings you.
If some of you are on the same lectionary reading schedule, you may have been deeply moved as I was over Psalm 121 appearing in it. Praying these words over all concerned, over all the innocents on every side, over all who are so afraid. God of Moses, cover them with your hand.

Does the Tennessee legislature have a race problem? Why did the GOP have trouble with a resolution praising a civil rights leader for fighting for oppressed people? This is the latest in my award-winning Revealed investigation of Tennessee's Capitol Hill. @NC5
Why will NO ONE on the Tennessee House ethics subcommittee answer straight-up questions ON THE RECORD about whether they authorized payments to Scotty Campbell's sexual harassment victim, especially @TNDemocrats who want to take potshots at Speaker @CSexton25? My questions: 1/x
I was thinking this morning how we’re all disciples of someone. Of some entity. Some doctrine. I was thinking how quickly you can tell these days which news networks we’re discipled by. I’m not just talking about one in particular. Take your pick. We the people have become we the parrots. No nuance. No critical thinking. No inconvenient listening. No attempts to understand other views. Just parrots.
We have chosen the narrow way alright. Just not the narrow way Jesus meant. His narrow way opens wide our heart’s capacity to love (even our enemies!) and our mind’s capacity to consider others as more important than ourselves. If we hate more people and spew more derision than we did 5 years ago, we may believe in Jesus but make no mistake. We are not his disciples.
In Touch Family, this morning, God called our beloved pastor, Dr. Charles Stanley, home to heaven. Dr. Stanley lived a life of obedience and is now receiving the joy of his soul—seeing his Savior face-to-face. Please join us in praying for the Stanley family.
@TNLookout@PartipiloJ This a true example of the poor leadership running the Tenn legislative body. It's a 2/3 majority of inefficiency and personal greed.
What happened in Tennessee is the latest example of a broader erosion of civility and democratic norms. Silencing those who disagree with us is a sign of weakness, not strength, and it won’t lead to progress.
