@Milocinia@bogeythrim84@Grummz Tbf, based on how the EULA is worded, Krafton almost 100% wrote it since it directs all stuff to krafton, good or bad, not Unknown worlds, so...
Also almost every Eula from similarly sized (to krafton) or larger companies are as bad or worse, it's scare tactics, not enforcable.
@metnaor88@bogeythrim84@Grummz almost all other horror games don't really give you meaningful self defence either, this is, by design, part of the experience so you can't just cheese the game.
@WelfareAgentFL@SDV_era hey, if you haven't figured it out, you can use the sonic resonator to make the nibblers screw off at anytime! it resets their attack cycle which gives you time to swim away or get into cover.
@Rozewraith____@SDV_era so we're just resorting to slurs and stuff because you can't find any logical arguements against the fact that unknown worlds said months before the launch that they are not giving us tools to actively try to kill the creatures?
@KounaraChan I'mma be real, I think this is a situation where the devs are fully right, subnautica, especially 2, is about living alongside everything, not killing it, if you want to kill everything, you're better off looking elsewhere now because you won't like this game.
@amorphous714@shandobane and they said they're looking into working on finding a way to scare off stuff without killing them! Granted it may take a while because the next few updates are focused on trying to clean up bugs and fix some stuff that is a little more critical (like UIs) but, soon.
@AASIM_IMTIYAZ07@chut0y@forallcurious I mean, it entirely depends on what you mean by meaningful timeframe, FTL may be completely impossible, there's theories on how we can do it but the bigger issue is the time paradoxes which, there's a good chance that we may never be able to achieve it because of that.
@garrytan@Charlie4Change Yeah but then you get the funny massive electric bills due to electricity becoming more valuable of a resource, potential for water pollution if the place doesn't follow regulations, heat pollution, light pollution for security reasons, and noise pollution, plus all the trucks.
@AlexTanooki@KreekCraft@DiscordPreviews Going about it this way is still bad, but you know, let's make the companies do the job that the parents SHOULD be doing because they can't be bothered to make sure their child isn't accessing stuff they shouldn't!
@KreekCraft@DiscordPreviews This isn't something Roblox started, not even Discord, the biggest social platform that tried this first was Youtube a few years back, but you know, everyone said the creators covering it where just milking it for content though.
@YouTubeInsider@DanielTChirwa@TeamYouTube If the system works as intended then you really should reevaluate how that system works.
I mean, Oleksandr Chase Car's channel still isn't back up despite the court order for youtube to reinstate it 4 days later, so I'm going to go with you are lying to our faces.
@rayilicious@Discordia_Ch I can say for a fact that this is something that can happen, sometimes it's fear, sometimes it's just a twisted love that you don't realize until after the person is gone that it wasn't right, or that you didn't want them to get in trouble. That's part of how manipulation works.
@JakeRider@Whyman5Whyman@yuripsycho100 They dug a hell of a lot of those trenches, and the allies tended to use flamethrowers to clear them out. Brits literally made a churchill variant dedicated to clearing trenches with a flamethrower
@GrimmDark1@yuripsycho100 Also, Flamethrowers where commonly used against trenches, the brits even made the Churchill Crocodile to clear trenches and bunkers from the safety of a tank using flamethrowers.
@GrimmDark1@yuripsycho100 That is probably the same thing as what the person making that test thinks.
Trench Warfare was used heavily during WWII, literally any defensive battle included trenches
Normandy was known for the massive trench networks
The Pacific front was FULL of trench warfare
