@MeryleSprings@reddit_lies For real. I used to be a feminist back in the early 00's, but the movement has grown so toxic and misandrist that I no longer want to associate with that BS, even if I hold onto parts of what it used to be.
@Skulldaron@ToIkienverse Idk man, Elijah Wood and Sean Astin got quite a few roles following the movie. Karl Urban and Sean Bean also has a pretty impressive line-up of films.
Christopher Lee, Ian McKellen and Bernard Hill are/were also big time actors.

@piccolan@MeryleSprings@RinoTheBouncer I mean, there is provably an agenda like that. Not a whole lot of people partake in it, but there are people who has openly admitted so.
It's overstated for sure, but it does exist.
@piccolan@MeryleSprings@RinoTheBouncer I'd say they absolutely don't need to be hot, but there is a corelation between ugly characters and political preaching, which forces game quality to take a backseat.
@monroth@UmbrellaFight Thing is though, you can leave.
I know lots of people who don't have a Steam account or who barely use their Steam account and still likes video games.

@BickleKun@RylesMeta A monopoly requires a lack of viable substitutes and competition and an ability to exclude competitors.
Holding a dominant position in the market does not qualify as illegal.
@SteamInvHelper A head start does not translate to a constant advantage. Youtube vs Twitch livestreaming is a perfect example of this.
I can absolutely picture a scenario that makes me stop using Steam, but it won't happen while they still have a "consumer first" mindset.
