The NEETs crisis has become a political blame game. It shouldn't be.

Bringing in higher standards of technical learning - like in the Netherlands - is the right goal, but it will only work if we build on the successes of the reforms since 2010.

Half of rough sleeping in London alone is non-UK nationals. Without a robust deterrent alongside it, any promise to end rough sleeping with the offer of accommodation will incentivise boat crossings and ultimately fail.
