@thecourieruk You might try popping down to Dundee station right now. A VERY large group of @Scotrail passengers, including elderly and vulnerable people are stranded, standing in the dark and cold. @Scotrail is hoping they MIGHT get a bus or 2 in an hour. More than 3 busloads are waiting.

National will make more noise, local (if they are sensible) will send a reporter with hot drinks and a recording device to get some damning stories. Also they will check twitter to confirm exactly what @scotrail has said, not said, done and not done.

@CarolleMarieS @ScotRail A bus just turned up, my wife was herded onboard many elderly stranded. Only just found out as her fingers were too cold to be able to write on her phone. I don't think whoever is on duty on the twitter account realises that nowadays newspapers check twitter for stories like this
