🆕 We made a magazine! Eastern #Mediterranean Affairs (EMA). Read our first issue and find my new article 'Attending to intended audiences: State(s) of digital communication during the pandemic: the cases of #Cyprus and #Greece'. @UNIC_ENG#IR#COVID19
Yesterday we joined the conversation with Ambassador Capricia Marshall, participating in a fascinating master class in soft power, exploring the complexity of human interactions, and making the case that etiquette, cultural IQ, and a flexible mindset matter - now more than ever.
Pleasure to speak at the Movement of Youth: New age of soft power event, organised by #Russian Cultural Centre🇨🇾 People from business & public sectors, academia & from civil society orgs shared thoughts on role & direction of soft skills and cultural diplomacy in Cyprus &beyond.
🍂September is here and we are back at the #archives after a pause due to the #pandemic. Although #research is certainly slower, it feels nice being close to what you love doing, even under special conditions.😷Thanking the personnel of the #Cyprus State Archives for their help!
🌞Had a lovely time giving a talk at @XarkisFestival on the influence of British rule on the arts and crafts of Cyprus, followed by a fruitful and lively discussion between a small group of participants (😷) on issues of cultural influence, national identity and decolonisation 🇨🇾
🗺 'Mapping Stakeholders and Influencers' and 'Using Audience Insights to Develop Public Diplomacy Narrative Strategies'. Two more modules completed with the @PublicDiplomacy! Fascinating material, expertly taught with lots of creativity and group work.🤝
Two @PublicDiplomacy modules completed on segmentation analysis for PD strategy &multi-platform social listening. Around 25 individuals from across🌏worked together to learn new skills. Given @CuDiCy 's historical scope we wonder how present PD is informed by past practices!
