Getting informal for a second the dBrand thing is messed up 😭 there’s really no justifying such a large moronic move from a corporation like that. A protective case like that for Steam Machine is genius because it’s sturdy and durable with the corners and general protection while also being an almost 1:1 recreation of the most iconic cube in gaming and usually you don’t get something that’s both aesthetically stunning as a decoration and genuinely useful. Situations like this can really leave an impact on future partners deals and dBrand had so many opportunities to avoid this yet now there are probably over a hundred videos advertising a product you can’t even buy, some going with the creators’ large videos on Steam Machine itself as a sponsorship. They really could’ve avoided this whole thing by just asking Valve and this will probably tarnish their reputation forever while also losing tens of thousands of dollars. Nothing came out of this but it was a cool concept and for now we’ll be stuck with 3D printing case designs 🤷♀️
