I'm excited to share a project that I've been working on: a brand-new version of @Mozilla's SSL Configuration Generator:

https://t.co/KHAIHVQZPj

Configuring TLS is perhaps the most complicated and error-prone of all IT tasks, and this tries to make it as easy as possible.

@miaaowing @JaceThings if it's helpful, i believe karabiner elements lets you remap delete to other chords, like shift+backspace, or to almost anything you want.

wish macOS let you do that remapping by default, but that would maybe help the awkward hand positions.

[April King 🌀 @CubicleApril]

@PandD823 go for it, or you can send me a PR too

[April King 🌀 @CubicleApril]

@neil_jhaveri Really looking forward to the iOS app, hopefully I can find as many bugs there as I found in the macOS app. 😈

[April King 🌀 @CubicleApril]

@DataRepublican @JuddLegum @elonmusk you really gotta upgrade from your 4.77 MHz Intel 8086 with 512KB of RAM

[April King 🌀 @CubicleApril]

@discord_support do you happen to know why this directory exists on macOS? this is the wrong directory to write to.

Application%20Support should be "Application Support"

[April King 🌀 @CubicleApril]

@GergelyOrosz Probably the C programming language?

[April King 🌀 @CubicleApril]

@tracewoodgrains huh, that is weird then and not at all what i would have expected. thanks!

[April King 🌀 @CubicleApril]

@tracewoodgrains is this supposed to read highest / lowest?

great article btw

@caseykim @FrederickMelo Well prioritizing the best person for the job was exactly what all the DEI departments I’ve worked for did, shame that it’s all likely to go away now.

[April King 🌀 @CubicleApril]

@caseykim @FrederickMelo Well you can believe whatever you want but this is pretty much diametrically opposed to what the DEI department did at my last three jobs, which was focused on trying to ensure a diverse applicant pool.

I think you need to read less Twitter and actually look at the real world.

[April King 🌀 @CubicleApril]

@caseykim @FrederickMelo In which world are they different? Recruiting and outreach are perhaps the most important part of DEI.

[April King 🌀 @CubicleApril]

@cloudventures_ @editingemily The average age of a software developer in the US is 39, so does this mean that the vast majority of software developers are between the ages of 38 and 40?

[April King 🌀 @CubicleApril]

@editingemily I have a very very good camera setup (ZV-1) and lighting system (3x key lights + backlights), with excellent skin softening, to appear younger than I am.

(for the obvious reasons)

[April King 🌀 @CubicleApril]

@MerrittBaer It’s very handy and produces incredible results and I enjoy mine but if I were building a new kitchen I’d probably not buy another.

That said, it’s a pretty cheap toy to try. $100 gadget and some ziplock bags are all you need to get started.

[April King 🌀 @CubicleApril]

therapist: it’s normal for painful memories to soften over time

me: but what if they don’t? what if they only hurt more as i age?

therapist: do you have any memories in particular you’re thinking of?

me: yes, it’s… *sobs* the end of google reader

[April King 🌀 @CubicleApril]

@SwiftOnSecurity it’s because you didn’t put down for the striped stockings to go with it, amateur move

[April King 🌀 @CubicleApril]

@lcamtuf ooo did they rerelease the calculator watch??

[April King 🌀 @CubicleApril]

@rakyll Was there a time when this wasn’t the case, except for maybe 40 years ago when things were so small they could be done by a tiny team? I certainly remember plenty of this two decades ago.

[April King 🌀 @CubicleApril]

@seankershaw @mhenderson33 @MayorCarter Marshall east of Snelling has a lot of this going on too, I hear it several times per night.

(recognizing that Marshall is, IIRC, a country road)

[April King 🌀 @CubicleApril]

@natehoodstp @NortonMpls could we tax the crap out of them instead?
