@TarvoValker Congratulations Tarvo, I hope you enjoyed your big day!
Thank you for a great week's birding last week. Getting all 7 peckers was amazing, particularly the views of the Three Toed. So many highlights, but the Ural Owl food pass probably stole the show. Awesome!

@Wacky_Anteater @PhilWoo20716401@YWTPottericCarr@SYorkshireBirds I wondered if that was you there Joe. I was walking round with my wife and squeezing in a bit of birding (she's not a birder unfortunately). I'll say hello next time I see you.
Padley Gorge. Uplifting to find 3 singing Wood Warblers and 3 Spotted Flys this afternoon. My best there for many years! Redstarts, Pied Flys, Tree Pipit, an elusive Cuckoo and plenty of commoner birds. Wonderful - when quiet!
No dipper-hope I just missed them. @Derbyshirebirds

@DarraghHudson Cracking record. I've only had ruff once in Horbury with a party of 6 on the old flash at the bottom of Green Lane before it was turned into a fishing lake.
@Blacktoft_Sands @BBCCountryfile @humbernature A great watch and fantastic to see the great progress you are making at Island Farm. For anyone that ever doubts the value of their RSPB membership, Blacktoft Sands and Island Farm are worth it on their own! Keep up the great work, you're a fantastic team there πππ
