@SACTLocal@therunnerjacky@brittanybussemd Exactly...and sucking up the pain for 3k seems plausible at 2k, gets real at 3k, have sunk cost bias a 4k and throw up at 5.
@AmandaAskell I think the understanding of how technical a person or group are, is necessary in order to converse with them effectively. If I tried to explain a project or problem to my executive team or board the same way I speak to my engineers then I would not be effective at all.
@SkyNews I agree with the morality and fairness of increasing CGT but it isn't actually going to raise much for the government - it's politics and headline grabbing more than it is effective policy!
@CathieDWood Use a better rating provider with a credible methodology (and without conflicts). Tesla and Philip Morris have similar scores with other providers - difference is largely on Social and Governance. It's pretty obvious where Tesla needs to improve although SNP scores are skewed.
@pcalcado Purpose built tools tend to be too opinionated and don't allow for the often practical flexibility required in the real world software delivery. Jenkins was great early on, not cos it was better but cos you could do what needed to be done. GHA is popular for similar reasons IMO.
@NOWTV what a sh#t show!! Not only have you ruined the ARG vs SA game with technical issues but you are now wasting my evening with poor customer service whilst trying to get a refund!!!
@traskjd@alexbunardzic A very relevant point. I found it is best to differentiate between deployment and release i.e. let the dev teams continuously deploy their work but use feature flags to independently control release to customers. This requires coordination across teams but very much achievable.
