We know this virus can be beaten back if we take strong measures as a country NOW. But if we choose a route that hurts our economy less in the short run, it may devastate us far worse than ever.
Get this thing under control first. THEN figure out how to get life back to normal.

I stand with Speaker Pelosi and Chuck Schumer in opposing the "McConnell Corporate Slush Fund" and here's why:
1) McConnell’s bill includes a $500,000,000,000.00 corporate slush fund for CEOs and the ultra rich — while leaving workers, families and children out to dry.
