@kschlenker I do! Would love to provide some feedback on this latest version of Opal. Where would be the best place to connect with someone from the product team?
@kschlenker Have been a proud paid subscriber since 2022. Agree with your mission, your conviction about the future, and have been very happy with all of the updates and improvements you have made to Opal over the years. Keep going!
@AmericanAir What is the “Ready to Fly Hub”? If I have to dig for that information and it’s not provided to me on my boarding pass, in the app, or in any email or text, how would anyone ever know to go and look for that? That info should be included on one if not both of these screens
@AmericanAir is there a reason you cannot inform passengers ahead of time when security is at a different Terminal than our gate? I just walked over a mile at LAX from Terminal B, to Terminal 4 for security, and then back to B for my gate. Would have just started at B if I knew
@AmericanAir Thank you! Fortunately I am an able-bodied healthy individual so the main outcome is just a sweaty passenger, but I imagine for someone less mobile it might result in some missed flights. We have the technology to easily fix this!
@todayyearsold I’ve got a few movies you would absolutely love man: Baby Geniuses, Baby Geniuses 2, Baby’s Day Out, Boss Baby, and Look Who’s Talking. They’re funny because they’re talking babies. Babies aren’t supposed to talk! I bet you’d get a kick out of em. You’re welcome in advance
Hopeful that my favorite job I’ve ever had (Parks & Rec grounds crew) might become monetarily viable to do as a career in the future. I’m sure the increase in pay will make the job less fun tho (no more adventures through the woods mowing down small trees in a Workhorse/Gator)
@spidadmitchell Brecksville @ North Royalton Tuesday night. Big crosstown rivalry game. Brecksville is undefeated and ranked 8th in the state and one of the best in Northeast Ohio. Bees vs Bears for the Honey Pot
Jose Ramirez breaks silence on signing below market extension from Guardians;
(Translation by Master Flip)
That was ultimately my decision, to take the extension. We went through a year and a half of negotiations, and when I finally signed, I got a significant salary bump. I knew it wasn’t fully reflective of my market value, and plenty of people made sure to point that out. But I’m a veteran, I understand how the game works.
Cleveland is a small market team, and they simply can’t pay me what I could command on the open market. So I told them, Let’s find a fair agreement that works for both sides.
I spoke directly with the GM. There were real trade discussions and offers from other teams willing to extend me at my full asking price, but my heart was set on staying in Cleveland. First and foremost, my children were born here. My wife feels comfortable in Cleveland and so do I. I owe this city a lot.
Since the day I arrived, I’ve never once been booed by these fans. I’ve seen how crowds in other stadiums treat players when results don’t come quickly, and that’s never happened here.

@paddypower@OfficialPDC Ryan Searle threw for a 9 one visit in the semifinals. It’s ridiculous that people in these replies assume someone is shit at darts for throwing an 89 with 9. Do people not understand how much variation there is between good darts and bad darts from the same player?
