Took a long break from social media,
And recently decided that I probably should come back, but I’m not going to doom-scroll 24/7.
The way things are happening. It’s good to be in the know…

@JakeGreenham99@Rob83871601 That 60% of that oil that is imported <—-from Canada that word is doing a lot of heavy lifting…
Is the total amount of oil that we use what percentage?
If you make less than $63 an hour right now, you’re technically earning less than minimum wage workers did in 1968 once you adjust for real purchasing power.
Minimum wage back then was $1.60.
Adjusted properly for inflation using actual cost of living, not the government’s preferred formula, that comes out to somewhere between $58 and $63 an hour today.
Most people reading this make nowhere close to that.
We didn’t get lazier as a country.
The floor just moved so far down that “minimum” stopped meaning anything close to what it used to guarantee.
@jeremyct lol,
If we use your numbers, that would be roughly 38x that’s not even in the realm of possibility it’s bad but not that bad
I guess common core math has infiltrated Africa
@tee_kae63561@jeremyct I’m gonna ask you a serious question I want you to think about this when I said I’ll take things that never happen for 200 Alex. What do you think I was referring to? I know you can do this. I have faith in you.
