@TriggerDavid @GoodLawProject @BarristerSecret Firstly capacity is time and decision specific - a certificate is not provided. The first principal of capacity is to always presume capacity - look at the Mental Capacity Act and guidance for more info. Its your solicitors responsibility to do a capacity assessment if needed.

@NancyGi04195625 @IVANCORNFORD @Justacarehomeg1 It is generally through our Adult Social Care Teams - so when an adults is referred for a needs assessment we also look at carers and the support they give. Its so important to maintain carer wellbeing.

@NancyGi04195625 @IVANCORNFORD @Justacarehomeg1 It's part of our LA's carers strategy, we work closely with third sector organisations. For example carers can access 12 hours free care support if they need to attend a hospital appointment. It's so important to value and support carers.

@ClairetheQSW Truly heartbreaking and devastating to watch. How and why is this still happening? Where is the care?compassion?humanity? Those patients are not viewed as human, rather as objects to be used for the staffs own entertainment and gratification, they should be ashamed of themselves.
