Bakr al-Muzanī رحمه الله said:

The sign of good character is in ten qualities:
1. Rarely arguing,
2. Treating others fairly,
3. Abandoning seeking out people’s faults,
The Easiest Way For The Shaytaan To Enter Upon People?
Ibn Al-Jawzi [رحمه الله] said:
The easiest way for the Shaytaan to enter upon people is ignorance. He enters securely upon the ignorant this way.

Speak With Knowledge Or Remain Silent With Gentleness
Imam Abu Abdullaah Ad-Dhahabi [رحمه الله] [D.748 A.H.] said:
O slave of Allaah if you love justice: Then Adhere to the texts of the Qur'aan and the Sunnah, after that look at what the Companions and their Successors,
Ibn al-Jawzi (رحمه الله) said:
"If a man is granted a woman who is everything he ever wanted, he should forget what he missed (i.e. other women)."

Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله said:

"Entrust your honor to Allah. Whoever curses you, insults you, or fights you, leave him to Allah."

Bilāl bin Sa’d رحمه الله said:
There may be someone who is joyful yet deceived, eating, drinking, and laughing, while it has already been decreed in the Book of Allāh that he is fuel for the Fire.
حلية الأولياء للحافظ أبو نعيم الأصبهاني (5/223)
Ḥasan al-Baṣrī [رحمه الله]:
Whoever competes with you in religiousness, compete with him, and whoever competes with you in the worldly life, [leave it with him and] throw it in his face.
