@EmiIiaSupremacy It is a fun take viewings things through science but at the same time retaining RPG elements. However the reason I was recommending it for you is that although it has action in the dungeons, it also has great banter between characters and global consequences for their actions

@EmiIiaSupremacy If you are looking for a different type of story to go on between those two, I'd recommend D Genesis. It is set in modern Japan but in an alternative reality where dungeons have appeared across the world. The story then follows two STEM people who research this new world.

@frog_kun Volume 2 is a lot better representation of the rest of the series. Volume 4 is still my favourite of what has been translated to date. Really hits the feels

@frog_kun @EmiIiaSupremacy There is alot of foreshadowing of the story in the looks, comments and intros that make more sense if you have read the books. I feel sorry for people new to the series because vol 1 is a slog. You are right though it takes awhile to really crack the Chitose's shell

@hiromu_yume I am looking forward to Vol 6. My vol 5 arrived in the post recently as well. Vol 5 was a great palate cleanse, but it also provided a good reminder of the stakes for Chitose and the very fine line he is walking with everyone around him. Looking forward to a new layer of story
