@DeltaData_ Leclerc was barely able to complete turn 12. He gained a huge advantage by cutting turn 15 because if he hadn’t, he likely would’ve DNF’d. There’s no way his car was completing that sharp right hand turn. Remember driver error isn’t a luck based correction when doing your H2H.

@MarcusBridgland So conflicted about these regulations - the battle between Charles and Lewis was cinema and so was the Haas/Alpine 4-way scrap but it’s so hard to tell how much of it is organic and how much is just mario mushrooms. I do think the race today was a better spectacle than last year

@fiagirly found it pretty frustrating watching Charles sit behind in P3, biding his time rather than putting George under any pressure in those first few laps. Could’ve been a team 1 & 3 but seemed to me he cared more about making sure Lewis tanked his tyres

@formularacers_ Leclerc sat behind in 3rd refusing to attack George when Lewis was fighting at the front. Could’ve led to a 1 & 3 if he’d put Russell under any sort of pressure all those times he was trailing Lewis. Instead chose to make sure he finished ahead of his teammate.

@Fauwkz roster who are currently most successful MR team itw (1st and 2nd at LAN) who added world class duelist and did poorly in a tournament they played on 150 ping when they hadnt scrimmed in 4 months so had no idea of meta

@MarcusBridgland It's a difficult one. In a world where transfer prices aren't a thing, nobody is looking at Wirtz and thinking "this guy is the problem". His performances have been okay - but when you're the most talked about signing in the world, 'okay' probably paints a target on your back

@MarcusBridgland Think part of the hate against him is because when he signed he was hyped as somebody who’d transcend your football and push you to the league at a canter. People know how good Isak can be so it’s hard to call him a flop when they know what he can do when he inevitably hits form
