@keithjg Viewing the mobile version, I’m greeted by a navigation interface. I think @EdwardTufte would say that’s backward. People come for great content, summit conditions most of all I bet. Nav should be tucked away till needed. Let your great content shine.
@norwood270 @Jaredfornh I’m north country too and wish we had Trailways service into MHT airport. Also the BOS service from Littleton departs midday, limiting flight options. We need better public transportation.
@BSmile The angle on the third homer’s swing was so steep you’d think it’d be a pop-up over 2B, but when you’re as strong as Reggie it becomes a 450 ft bomb. Wow.
@NormOrnstein put your incredible knowledge of Congress to use. Who is worse? Gym Jordan or B-1 Bob Dornan? (How far gone are we to pine for the stability of B-1 Bob?!?)
@GaryPetersonUSA I wish President Trump weren’t so busy. Imagine if he had free time, he’d speak eloquently about the virtues of introspection, humility, and self-discipline. He’s a modern St Augustine. Here, I bet he’s quietly reciting Virgil’s minor works to himself. Bigly genius.
To clarify, I get *why* GOP made deal with the devil…. Neofascist, tyranny of minority, semi-loyal democrats, economies of Fox, etc., but if one is a “conservative” one wouldn’t support its antithesis in DJT.
@PhilipWallach Strong essay in @TheAtlantic yet I’m still puzzled why GOP likes DJT at all. 90s Newt was ideological RW. Today GOP/HFC is Left on morals, spending, NATO/Russia, FBI, DPRK, tariffs etc. While Jordan et al are fighters, they don’t fight for authentic conservatism.
@dziblatt “Semi-loyal democrats” & “forbearance” are two key terms from your current & previous book, respectively. Thank you for giving us general readers a vocabulary to discuss the threats to democracy. Truly grateful to you both. 👍🏻🇺🇸
@votejordannh I’m surprised that the play and the murals are an issue anywhere in NH in 2023. In the Deep South where fundamentalists still rule, yes, but not up here. We’ve never been like that, and judging by the busy shops, tourists like Littleton’s eclectic vibe.
