@SEACityLight I finally got through on the phone, but outage notification wouldn't go through. And I haven't seen the map online update in a while (our neighborhood isn't on it yet).
@SEACityLight I've been getting a busy signal from the phone number to report an outage. I'm assuming that's from too many people calling in at once, but wanted to double check that the number is still working.
At 51st Ave S and S Gazelle St in Rainier Beach, we installed improvements based on community feedback.
This SDOT crew-built project enhances the link between the neighborhood and the Chief Sealth Trail for people walking and biking.
Before and after:
We are currently experiencing technical difficulties with our outage map. The information shown does not reflect current outage conditions. Thank you for your patience as we work to resolve the issue.
We are aware of an outage in North Seattle affecting approximately 18,000 customers. Crews are responding.
We are also experiencing technical issues with the map on our outage page.
IL Supreme Court ruled Chicago isn't liable for the injuries of a cyclist who crashed at a pothole on Leland Ave. because bike riders aren't "intended" road users. How are we supposed to get to or from the adjacent city-owned bike-share station – teleport?

How does your city compare?
The built results of Portland’s liberalization of single-dwelling zones now allowing up to four units by-right. A little bit of market research demonstrates that these sell for 60-80% less than a new build single-detached in the same neighborhood.
"Freeway" sounds Orwellian. Could this be a plot to steal my free time and take away my freedom? Could this be a conspiracy to require the use of a rolling metal box to serve all of my basic human needs? #wefpuppet
What an appalling record. And these @txdotelp engineers are trying to tell us they “can’t engineer [their] way out of traffic fatalities”. What a colossal abdication of their core responsibility. Also, it’s bullshit. Some cities have redesigned their streets with great success.
