There is usually a block of time each day when you are at your best—peak energy, peak enthusiasm. Let's say it's 2 hours per day. How do you spend those 2 hours? Who or what gets your best time?
Learn to spot and voice out the issues as an ally. Please do not make it our work to educate you. Educate yourself! I do not want to see you simply posting "Happy International Women's Day" if you are not learning about these issues or doing any of the above.
Say No to Performative Activism
To anyone jumping on Intl women's day #IWD posts, I am curious how you advocate for women and those who do not identify as cisgender men.
The purpose of raising awareness about gender equality and uplifting women is because inequality exists.
Think about dismantling hierarchy and patriarchy!
Think about what to say to stand up to the oppressors.
Consider how you can discourage, distract, and eventually stop sexist conversations, Google things, follow social media accounts, talk about it among your friends
@doronvermaat I don’t think they should ban tobacco but put premium tax on it paid by the tobacco companies and utilise that money for related health care. We can see legalising things is better than the other way round.
