Today we’re @enspbrussels meeting to launch the Youth Working group so a great time to look back at the 1st EU Youth #Smokefree Network where young people designed protest signs & stood up to BAT shareholders #youthvoice https://t.co/UzNhQ6rY5k @NoExcuseSlo
As a young, fit, non-smoker, lung cancer was the furthest thing from Iain's mind. So when he was diagnosed in May 2017, he simply couldn't believe it. https://t.co/mv7n59Boah

@Dick_Puddlecote@Kimindex@bbc5live@Roy_Castle_Lung Happy for a debate, but the facts & damage that smoking causes is widely known. If Forest had as much time as Kim is saying then that is not really debate. Also, given that for the 15 minutes that I was on air, I was debating against two pro-smoking positions until near the end.
@Kimindex@bbc5live Very true about carers, I hadn't considered that point before. I also pointed out that smokers on average take more sick days each year and have generally poorer health (costing NHS more) so no, the costs gained in taxes are not square.
