A helpful guide for the public, when to go to ED/A&E for pain or injury.
Real life example:
Going to ED "for an Xray" due to a mild wrist pain playing tennis with no history of trauma -> do NOT go to ED/A&E.
@AdamMeakins@PaulBliton Congrats on choosing your own adventure! You got better and all it took was (ruling out of red flags, putting up with bullshit from knobheads, keeping calm and keeping moving and time) which fixed you! ๐
@AdamMeakins Once we've worked this out, a Veterinarian friend of mine asked if we could solve this too..? Is there any directional resistance? Or just Capillary Action?
Anyone else watch this and get flashbacks to an overpriced SIJ/Pelvis course learning from a magical guru how to find slipped/rotated/torsioned innominates and using METs to put them back in place?
..
Anyone?
No?
...
Just me then.
Shout-out to all the "mates of patients who aren't a healthcare professional" for telling their mates that any small niggle in the patients back must be a "disc bulge" or "slipped disc".
You're a big help in helping patients form nasty beliefs that take many appointment$ to undo.
@AdamMeakins A bruise is a sign of success from my advanced manual therapy skills ridding them of toxins. Certainly not ruptured capillaries and micro vascular injury..... Definitely toxins.
