At the Giga Texas North Campus construction site, the new Optimus factory continues fast progress using 7 large cranes assembling the steel superstructure & we see floor decking already being installed!

Footing construction along with more GeoPier work is evident & more steel beams & columns are arriving nearly continuously at the site. reclamation work on the S end, where remnants of the old sand & gravel mine are present continues, & this will allow the new factory to extend it’s length further.

The 310-foot-long barge carried NASA’s Roman telescope and the Artemis III weather cover.

Roman will reveal billions of galaxies, hundreds of thousands of new exoplanets, hundreds of blackholes, and will provide vast volumes of daily data for astronomers to study.

I thought I'd share some of these high resolution & zoomed in images of the new Giga Texas Optimus Factory construction site, showing the extensive ground & foundation work plus the steel superstructure taking shape.

At least in this section of the superstructure, we can see four floors and already portions of the roof structure in place. Following the construction methodology we saw with the main factory, I expect the steel structure to work to the north & south while extending mot of the width.

The perimeter grade beam needs to be constructed to reach full width, so for now the assembly is concentrated in the center of the site.

Right on schedule, it was another Falcon 9 Stage 2 Switcharoo today at the SpaceX McGregor test site. The last one finished up its testing and headed out, while the next one was already staged and ready to be lifted for its own testing!

BORING NEWS: The Boring Company has purchased a three-story 10,419 sq ft commercial building at 3301 West End Ave in Nashville, Tennessee.

The building is well-positioned for a potential Music City LOOP station due to its location along the planned Broadway/West End alignment.

The alignment extends southwest from Lower Broadway along West End Avenue past Centennial Park and Vanderbilt University, terminating near I-440.

The building sits on this corridor in Midtown Nashville. It would offer convenient access to key destinations like Vanderbilt, hospitals, and dense residential / commercial areas.

Tesla has erected the steel to connect the 600k sq ft with the 1M sq ft factory! The also started pouring the concrete (likely finished now) for the large ramp into the factory. Plus two uncovered Megapack Frames!

Today, the Clark County Fire Department and The Boring Company Tunnel Rescue Team completed a rigorous hands-on technical rescue exercise inside a Vegas Loop tunnel.

These joint trainings help ensure first responders are prepared, coordinated, and ready to respond in any scenario.

TBC has hosted trainings for more than 200 firefighters and first responders with more than 150 hours of in-tunnel drills.

Thank you to CCFD for the continued collaboration and partnership in keeping safety as top priority in Vegas Loop.
