Introducing Arc – the world’s first space-based delivery vehicle.
Arc enables the on-demand delivery of cargo and effects to anywhere on Earth in under an hour, and offers unparalleled hypersonic testing capabilities.
Arc reshapes defense readiness by enabling access to anywhere on Earth in under an hour – allowing for the rapid delivery of mission-critical cargo and effects to austere, infrastructure-limited, or denied environments. This capability establishes space as a new global logistics domain, introducing unprecedented speed, reach, and resiliency for national security.
Arc features a versatile payload bay designed to accommodate a wide range of mission-critical cargo and effects. When launched to low-Earth orbit, Arc vehicles will form constellations of varying sizes and locations tailored to each customer’s needs. When called down on demand, Arc spacecraft descend from orbit, maneuver through hypersonic reentry, and touch down safely under parachutes – all autonomously.
'Highways in Space' is a wrap!
Thanks everyone who came out for our LA @Techweek_ event. And a special thanks to Michael Smayda @Fortastra_Corp, Rich Minford @TurionSpace, and Robert Carlisle @argolunarwater for joining the panel.
We’ll publish a video of the entire discussion next week.
One week away! Just a few spots left for our LA @Techweek_ event here at Inversion HQ.
We’re bringing together leaders from Inversion, Argo, Fortastra, and Turion Space to talk about the future of moving to, from, and through space. Join us inside Inversion’s spacecraft manufacturing facility in Playa Vista on October 14.
Speaker lineup:
@jcfiaschetti, Co-Founder, CEO, @InversionSpace@CarlisleR_01, CO-Founder, CEO, @argolunarwater@mike_smayda, Founder, CEO, @Fortastra_Corp
Rich Minford, CCO, @TurionSpace

Inversion's new hire merch kit unboxing.
We’re hiring like mad and want to make sure you’re swagged up from day one.
Now, we want you to join Inversion because you want to build the most advanced reentry vehicles in the world. But good swag doesn’t hurt.
Cool to see AFRL talking about this! At Inversion we've been focused from day 1 on building advanced re-entry vehicles to deliver cargo to remote locations. We’ve always believed the future of space-based delivery would require a new class of smaller scalable reentry vehicles. More to do, but closer every day!
Inversion is hiring across ALL disciplines. Including: Mechanical Engineering.
We’re looking for people who want to own real flight hardware, solve hard problems, and move fast from design to manufacturing to test.
Structures. Mechanisms. Thermal systems. Vehicle integration.

Inversion has been selected by @NASA to advance aerocapture technology for interplanetary missions.
Aerocapture is a simple but powerful idea: use a planet’s atmosphere to slow down instead of fuel.
Spacecraft arriving at another planet are traveling at tremendous speeds and traditionally must carry significant propellant to slow down and enter orbit.
Aerocapture instead uses aerodynamic forces during a single controlled pass through the atmosphere to shed velocity and achieve orbital capture. Less fuel means mass savings that can enable greater flexibility in launch vehicle selection, increased science payload, and significantly shorter trip times.
Under the contract, Inversion will study how Arc could support the demonstration through mission design, aerodynamics, trajectory analysis, and vehicle definition.
This award represents a new frontier for Arc and highlights the growing range of missions enabled by advanced reentry.
Swing by Inversion during LA Tech Week on Oct. 14.
We're bringing together a group of LA-based space founders and leaders at our HQ in Playa Vista to chat about Highways in Space!

Inversion designs, manufactures, and tests advanced reentry technologies right here in Los Angeles.
Take a look inside our factory to see (some of) what we’re building.
Inversion is hiring across ALL disciplines. Including: Reentry.
As part of the Reentry team, you’ll help Arc survive, maneuver, and operate through one of the most extreme environments any vehicle can face: hypersonic flight back from space.
Thermal protection, aerodynamics, structures, GNC, testing – every discipline has to work together when a spacecraft hits the atmosphere at Mach 20+.

Arc is what advanced reentry looks like.
Extreme maneuverability. Cutting-edge thermal protection. Autonomous flight from orbit to soft landing on Earth.
Our CEO @jcfiaschetti shares the origin story of Inversion.
Check out this clip from the MECO podcast hosted by @acolangelo. It’s part of a nearly hour-long conversation that dives into spacecraft design, first-principles engineering, advanced reentry, and the technical decisions shaping the future of returning from space.

This is an anechoic chamber – a room designed to minimize RF reflections and external interference to accurately characterize antenna performance under near free-space conditions.
We just completed testing for a portion of Arc’s RF system. The goal: validate that our system performs as expected, including through our thermal protection system.
Early results are very encouraging as we continue validating flight hardware ahead of Arc’s first flight.
Our drogue parachute deploys at supersonic speeds – making it a fundamentally different engineering challenge than the main parachutes for Arc.
Made of Kevlar, the drogue is designed to withstand the extreme aerodynamic loads and temperatures in the wake of Mach 2+ speeds post reentry from space.
Every drogue is cut, sewn, and tested in-house. We're not just designing the hardware, but building the manufacturing capability to produce it at scale.
Inversion is using maneuverable reentry to unlock applications ranging from hypersonic testing to rapid deployment from space – and this is just the beginning.
