There is no reason to delay infrastructure projects for what should now be a primary mode of transportation. The call for #ProtectedBikeLanesNow is not over until we see real change.
Always get a bit sad to see friends selling the bikes they made so many memories with. People love cycling in this country, but we don't want or let them. We forced them back into traffic and forced them to become traffic by getting back on cars and motorcycles
This is a beautiful photo. How to ruin it? Imagine if each person in it brought a car to Makati. That's how you make it worse for all commuters. You're about to make mobility more difficult for everyone, @MakeItMakati.
"There are 34% more buses now. We know it's not safe but it's time for you cyclists to squeeze in with them. You might die, but please support and understand us. Oh, and yeah, we want to nurture our good relationship with you. ✌🏼🤪"
When you allow motor vehicles to enter the bike lane freely, you give arrogant drivers license to scare cyclists off the streets; making them feel as if they don't have a right on the road.
This is what your sign means to me @MakeItMakati @Mayora_Abby.
#ProtectedBikeLanesNOW
In case some of you are wondering why cyclists keep asking for #ProtectedBikeLanesNOW or why some of us keep imploring other road users to #ShareTheRoad.
And no, this is not just some isolated incident.

He then assembles a new electric cargo bike saying, "and this, the bicycle built for three might be the most perfect means of transport."

“We’ve been through a century […] where we’ve given over our cities to the motor car. We’ve designed most of the intrastructure for motor cars and we’ve been in total subservience for an awful long time." (1/2)
"The city government will procure an entire fleet of electric vehicles and use solar panels..." — Makati should becme a carfree city if it really understands the meaning of "climate emergency."
