Will you talk to your CEO about demanding safer conditions for you to cycle to work? Here's a tool to help you in that talk. (please RT) https://t.co/pPWL8P40rO
Great to see @HubSpot signing up with the campaign and writing to the head of the NTA and to the minister for @Dept_Transport supporting the rollout of safe infrastructure for workers to commute by bike. Thank you!
Quick reminder @age_cycling trishaws with pilots are available @TheBikeHub_ie in Dún Laoghaire to bring people along the lovely coastal mobility route. For people who because of age, disability or mobility issues would not otherwise be able to enjoy it. No charge
We are looking at updating this initiative and seeking volunteers to help.
Government is heading in the right direction, but opposition can be too loud at times. Supportive employers seeking safe conditions for their workers have a role to play.

@BrianOFarrell@IBIKEDublin@Dept_Transport@TFIupdates Many people are not aware of that. At the time we kept it quiet as it was a way to show government that there is more support than one might think. But sharing it in public might help clarify any doubts about business support.
You should know how strongly businesses are behind the construction of safe cycling infrastructure for people to commute safely to work and school.
The following organisations have written before to minister of @Dept_Transport and @TFIupdates (NTA)
A fundraiser that will certainly attract the attention of bike collectors and philanthropists. And for a great cause - helping fund parts and accessories that will be spent on restored kids bikes to become Christmas gifts in low income households.

To fund this campaign, we're launching the auction of this gorgeous 1980's Basso Loto full of Campagnolo goodies. The bike is on our counter for inspection and will be sold by the first week of December to the highest bidder. (please RT)
We're kicking off a back to school project. The plan is to deliver as many bikes as possible to secondary and third level students over the next four weeks. Want to help? We need:
- bikes in reasonable shape
- funds for parts/helmets/locks/etc
- delivery support
Get in touch!
And the assumptions being confirmed:
- significant numbers of people with disabilities and their relatives are delighted they can now enjoy the Coastal Mobility Route together
- many people want to learn how to repair their bikes
- people want to help out, volunteer
Motorists, what would it take to get you out of your car? Free public transport, congestion charges, punitive taxes, reallocation of road space?
Looking for a variety of opinions so please email gerherbert6 [at] gmail [dot] com
RTs appreciated

A long time coming, let @dlrcc know your view on plans for #StillorganPark: off-road cycle tracks; space at roundabouts/side roads; 2 new pedestrian crossings; new footway to the N11 underpass; removal of left slip lane at N11; raised junctions.

Great news! Our new workshop in Dun Laoghaire is almost ready and we're about to process a batch of donated bikes in our Upcyclers project, includes bikes for women, men and kids. Please get in touch if you want to contribute or to suggest beneficiaries. https://t.co/aqjUXheRtU
@BridgetteBrew@dublincycling@SouthDubCycling@DublinCityofLit@cycling Many executives that signed up their companies in support of our campaign are not cyclists, they just want safer conditions for people, workers, students to commute safely by bike. Almost without exception, everyone is a potential cyclist.
🚴🏻♀️”Every cyclist on our roads is somebody’s brother, somebody’s sister, somebody’s son or daughter,”
@CiaranCannon discusses the treatment of some cyclists on our roads and the need for more care and consideration to be shown by some motorists.
