I don't know the iOS app, but the federated timeline is imho far too busy to follow along. I usually discovere interesting accounts through retoots, hashtags or search (i.e. https://t.co/9PUUZcBdOX).

@promit_roy You can still follow people that are on other instances, that's the "federation" thing.

The top posts on https://t.co/KLSPU1bRRe are empty because these need to be manually verified before appearing and Aras doesn't have the manpower to do that all the time.

So his attack on free speech as actually *defending* it. Conservative manipulation campaigns must flow freely for free speech to be achieved.

Twitter has had a massive drop in revenue, due to activist groups pressuring advertisers, even though nothing has changed with content moderation and we did everything we could to appease the activists.

Extremely messed up! They’re trying to destroy free speech in America.

My big takeaway from today's hearing is that everyone and their dog in Washington DC fully knows Trump started a coup almost 2 years ago...and that it's still underway, with most of the GOP gambling on a win in next month's elections to pick up where they left off.

@jon_cham I think the knowledge for memory barriers + atomics (Interlocked) is relatively universal and can be grasped from the .NET docs on MSDN.

I think "Mastering C# Concurrency" (book) is quite good in covering the lock-free stuff, except for System.Collections.Concurrent.

20 years ago, talking to a schoolmate, I revealed that I can run 16k in 2 hours.

Now, after 20 years of training (and 20 years of aging), I can run 16k in 2 hours, 20 minutes :-( :-(
