So what if the customer orders a lot of stuff? The vehicle can only carry so much anyway, which means less driving around.
He delivers packages for a living. Did he think everything would weigh the same as a package of Ramen Noodles? If he doesn't have one, he needs a hand truck to transport the packages.
Otherwise, just take enough boxes as able and do multiple trips.
Physically exerting himself to the point of straining his back and legs for someone else's stuff might prevent him from showing up for work.
